Three things to keep in mind

  • Choose an input before describing the action.
  • Break a complex idea into short scenes.
  • Keep variations in separate saved drafts.

What to know before using a Vidu Q3 workflow

ViduQ3 and Vidu Q3 are the same search term

ViduQ3 is the unspaced spelling of Vidu Q3. Vidu’s official model page presents Q3 around video with native sound, narrative scenes and camera direction. This guide covers the workflow and the current ViduAI access separately.

Choose text or a first-frame image

Use text when the scene is a new idea. Use a first-frame image when a specific portrait, product or illustration should define the opening composition. Reference-to-video is a separate input mode for several subject or scene images.

Write action, camera and sound together

Explain what happens on screen, how the camera moves and what should be heard. For example, describe a person entering a room, a camera following them and the sound of footsteps. This is an example brief, not a tested output.

Check the current ViduAI settings

The Q3 entry provides the ViduAI video workspace. Set duration, resolution, framing and audio, and save your scene to continue editing.

Start with one action

Name the subject and setting, then add one action that fits the duration. For example, a character opens a book while the camera slowly pushes in. Add ambience or one short line when sound matters, rather than compressing several locations and events into one scene.

Prepare visual inputs

A first image can define the opening composition and an optional last frame can guide the ending. Multiple references describe characters, objects and setting; explain the role of each image. The two modes are separate, and the library can retain the source images for reuse.

Review the complete shot before editing

Check subject stability, action completion, unexpected camera changes and audio clarity. Add exact captions, logos and longer-story pacing during editing. Save the original inputs to compare your revisions.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a separate model from Vidu Q3?

No. The name is an alternative spelling. It does not identify a separate official model version.
